All Dog Force Australia’s specialist detection dogs have been carefully bred, selected and trained to international law enforcement standards of best practice.
Our Explosive Detection Dogs are experts in detecting every known material commonly used in the production of Improvised Explosive Devices.
Our Narcotic Detection Dogs are accomplished in the detection of all commonly used narcotic substances including Amphetamine, Methyl Amphetamine (ICE), Ecstacy, Heroin, Cocaine and all forms of Cannabis.
All Dog Force Australia Detection Dog Handlers have been carefully selected and trained at the Dog Force Australia K9 Training Centre.
Located in Falls Creek, New South Wales, the Dog Force Australia K9 Training Centre is a purpose built specialist training facility designed specifically to produce excellence in both handler and canine performance.
All Dog Force Australia Trainers are canine law enforcement experts from both Australia and the United Kingdom. Our training methodology is world class best practice which ensures our dogs and handlers deliver a first class service in all forms of explosive and narcotics detection.
Dog Force Australia’s highly qualified team have world-class experience in K9 law enforcement General Purpose Police Dog and Detection Dog handling and training. Our trainers are specialists in all forms of K9 law enforcement including criminal tracking and apprehension, detection of firearms, explosives, drugs, vermin (bio-security control and environmental protection), identified contraband and human scent tracking (human remains and missing persons). Whether it’s a conference venue requiring clearance for explosives or pro-active patrols to deter illicit drugs in a business or private premises, Dog Force Australia has the capability to deliver.
Dog Force Australia is a fully independent Registered Training Organisation (RTO No.41371) and offers specialised nationally accredited training courses. Our services are aimed at providing complete training packages to clients within the law enforcement and private security industries. Training can be delivered flexibly at either the Dog Force Australia K9 Training Centre at Falls Creek, NSW (approx 2 hours south of Sydney) or at a site more suitable to the client.
Dog Force Australia is an Approved Training Organisation with the NSW Police Force Security Licensing Enforcement Directorate (SLED). We offer the Certificate III in Security Operations which is specifically designed to provide participants with all the necessary units of competency to apply for a Guard Dog Handlers Security Licence (1D). We are also registered to deliver any of our training courses in Queensland and Tasmania.
Dog Force Australia trainers have extensive experience and qualifications in canine law enforcement. Our courses are the first nationally accredited training programs to be offered to law enforcement agencies in Australia. Our programs include the Police Dog Handlers Course (General Purpose Operations or Detection Operations) and the Dog Handling Instructors Course hosted by our international canine law enforcement experts from the United Kingdom and Europe.
Dog Force Australia have also developed accredited training for Corrective Service agencies. We are proud to offer the Correctional Dog Handlers Course (General Purpose Operations or Detection Operations) which aims to provide participants employed (or seeking employment) in the Department of Corrective Services, the skills to handle a working dog in the prison system.
Dog Force Australia also offer a range of nationally accredited courses to the private security industry. In addition to the Certificate III in Security Operations we offer courses in Guard Dog Handling, Security Dog Operations and Detection Dog Operations. These courses are designed to provide participants with the skills to gain employment as a professional dog handler in the security industry. Our expert trainers have delivered K9 training programs across a broad range of specialisations covering searching, tracking, obedience, agility, tactical deployment and criminal apprehension, human scent tracking and searching (people, drugs, firearms, explosives, contraband, bio-security and environmental protection).
