| Description: | The Statement of Attainment – Detection Dog Operations is a course designed for the student who intends to seek employment as a professional detection dog handler. The course provides high level detection dog handling skills in both narcotics and explosives. Students will be instructed in all facets of handling a detection dog in the operational context. The course is largely delivered by practical “one on one” instruction by former canine law enforcement dog trainers. Numbers for this course are strictly limited. Each student will require access to a suitable dog which will require suitability accreditation by Dog Force Australia trainers prior to the course commencing. Dog Force Australia are able to source and provide quality pre-trained detection dogs for students to purchase if required.
